We throw a Super Bowl party every year. It is just the five of us- kids and parents. I cannot say that we are huge football fans as we do not watch any other or the games all year (we have kids’ hockey games, you know…). But…this party is out yearly “thing.” We make a ton of appetizers, take over the living room couch and watch the festivities and the commercials.
We each pick a favorite appetizer to make. These sausage cheese toasts always seem to make it on the list. A child of the 80s, I love Velveeta “cheese.” Add sausage and serve on bread….comfort snack food nostalgia.
